FOUNDER & CEO

Charlie is a serial tech entrepreneur who brings an innovative and practical approach to developing disruptive technology products. He founded his first company whilst at university having invented and patented an optically dynamic road sign. He later adapted this technology to develop and patent the world’s first smartphone authenticable security hologram for his next startup, H010.

In 2013, he joined Dyson, later working alongside James Dyson himself on the ideation, development, and scale manufacture of new technology products. After eight years, Charlie left Dyson to found HoloMem, leveraging his expertise in holography, fast iteration, and mass production to develop a future fit data storage solution.

HEAD OF R&D

Formally one of Dyson’s Lead new product innovation engineers, Freddie is Head of R&D at HoloMem. Having spent his formative years dismantling and rebuilding motorbike engines in his family garage, Freddie designed and built a rotary Wankel engine from scratch whilst studying for his Masters in Mechanical Engineering.

Focusing on rapid design iteration using modern technologies, materials, and prototyping techniques Freddie and his team have developed and patented several key breakthroughs in realising a high fidelity, robust, and low cost holographic data storage system capable of high speed data storage and retrieval.
