SNIA is a not-for-profit organisation that develops international standards and specifications whilst promoting technologies related to the storage, transport, optimisation of infrastructure, acceleration, format, and protection of data.

Their mission is to develop and promote architectures, standards, and education through vendor-neutral collaboration of experts on data technologies that lead the industry worldwide.
